چکیده
Abstract The review examines the subject matter of catalytic pyrolysis, which is an upgrade on both operation and output thermal pyrolysis process, capable producing liquid oil products a higher quality yield compared to at reduced energetic demands. use catalysts plays major role in increasing cracking activity subsequent decomposition reactions, attaining more desirable aromatic products. properties, types, classes, loading mechanisms catalyst as well modification techniques are delved into detail asserting what makes efficient effective improving process for different organic inorganic feedstock materials. biomass substrates, area less documented was also examined, effect acidic zeolite mechanism, end product were examined detail. Post-treatment upgrading ranging from refining, filtration, distillation, blending with conventional hydrocarbon fuels applications such transport fuel deployment utility generation.

A Review on Waste to Energy Processes Using Microwave Pyrolysis
This paper presents an extensive review of the scientific literature associated with various microwave pyrolysis applications in waste to energy engineering. It was established that microwave-heated pyrolysis processes offer a number of advantages over other processes that use traditional thermal heat sources. In particular, microwave-heated processes show a distinct advantage in providing rapi...
متن کاملCatalytic Fast Pyrolysis: A Review
Catalytic pyrolysis is a promising thermochemical conversion route for lignocellulosic biomass that produces chemicals and fuels compatible with current, petrochemical infrastructure. Catalytic modifications to pyrolysis bio-oils are geared towards the elimination and substitution of oxygen and oxygen-containing functionalities in addition to increasing the hydrogen to carbon ratio of the final...
متن کاملEnvironmental study of waste energy recovery by using exergy and economic analysis in a fluid catalytic cracking unit
An increase in fossil fuel consumption has significantly increased the concentration of greenhouse gases (GHGs). Waste energy recovery can reduce GHGs by reducing fossil fuel consumption. In the FCC unit in refineries, the catalyst is continuously regenerated by burning off the deposited coke with air and a large flux of waste gas with high temperature is generated which is vented into the atmo...
متن کاملPyrolysis of waste tyres: a review.
Approximately 1.5 billion tyres are produced each year which will eventually enter the waste stream representing a major potential waste and environmental problem. However, there is growing interest in pyrolysis as a technology to treat tyres to produce valuable oil, char and gas products. The most common reactors used are fixed-bed (batch), screw kiln, rotary kiln, vacuum and fluidised-bed. Th...
متن کاملPyrolysis Processing for Solid Waste Resource Recovery in Space
The NASA objective of expanding the human experience into the far reaches of space will require the development of regenerable life support systems. A key element of these systems is a means for solid waste resource recovery. The objective of this work was to demonstrate the feasibility of pyrolysis processing as a method for the conversion of solid waste materials in a Controlled Ecological Li...
